My bathtub water won't get hot. I took the cover off the handle to set the hot water hotter and found that there was a pin thru the middle and in the way of dial. How do you get the pin out? Not with pliers and not with a screwdriver....

Are you sure that the problem is the adjustment in the handle? Is this a tub/shower combo? Does the water come out of the shower hotter? What type of water heater do you have? Is it a tankless or on demand type? If so, check to make sure it is not a H.W. production problem. The tub flow rate is much higher than the shower or faucet.
