My niece has been staying with my family. She had an accident on my couch. Now there is a big urine spot. We did have our couch treated at the store at purchase. So now I do not know what to do about the stain. Most wet stains if we rub with a dry cloth they come out. However, with it being urine I don't want the smell to stick in my couch. What would be the best way to remove the urine odor out of the couch, without damaging the couch. I just don't want to sit there and forever smell urine. Please Help!

Throw the febreeze away, it's worthless. You need an enzyme cleaner like odoban to clean this. Keep in mind that any urine that soaked into the cushion is going to be nearly impossible to remove.

As indicated, you will need an enzyme digester cleaner. These are marketed under a variety of names like OdoBan, Nature's Miracle, Out and others. The trick to using enzyme cleaners is to give them time to 'digest' stains and odors. The problem with urine is that it not only settles downward, it settles outward 3-5 or more times the size of affected surface area. Removing urine from inside cushion will be next to impossible. Urine odor tends to be more noticeable on humid days.

I once had a dog who got old and sick and peed everywhere accidentally and I found Resolve Carpet Cleaner to work really well. It got out both the stain and smell. I believe they also sell an Upholstery cleaner, which you might want to get instead. Some may have different views, but it worked for me.
