i inherited an older model hahn tiller that wont start.has good blue fire at plug i suspect carb problem but have never seen a carb like this one before any suggestions?

Try a few drops of fuel in the throat of the carb and see if it will pop. If it does than its most likely fuel issue. Start by verifying fuel flow to the carb from the tank. If fuel is getting to the carb then the carb will prolly need attention.

It most likely has a Briggs engine with a vacu- or pulsa-jet carb but post back with more information on the engine please. Typically, the flywheel blower shroud will have the engine ID numbers that we'll need to better help you out.
