I have an upstairs shower that seems to be leaking out from below the shower, but instead of going below the water comes out on the floor underneath the shower where it meets tha laminate flooring. I am completely baffled by this as it does not really make sense to me that the water would come out there, it seems as though it should be dropping through the ceiling below. I have recaulked and checked the shower floor for cracks.

Any advice?

It may not be a drain that is dripping, but a supply line. Have you checked them, yet?
