I have a small Crafsman gas blower on which the stater rope has broken. How do I replace this? I'm also having difficulty getting the casing apart. I've removed all of the bolts (I can see) but it does not want to come apart .... heeeelp !!!

These blowers can be a pain, If memory serves you need to take the air filter cover and carburetor cover off, I think there are 6 or 8 screws holding the two sides of the housing together and the screws at the front where the tube goes in as well.

Good Luck
