Installing new 48"X34" Aquaglass shower stall. 3 wall panels attach directly to studs. Pan has foam bottom below the pvc pan, something I haven't seen before.

New walls have to be built around the new pan.
1) How high should new walls be built? Shower head is how high preferred? Should I stop wall height just above shower head? Then drywall with greenboard to finish top of wall?
Didn't want to tie walls into ceiling, to try and keep job simple.
(unfinished attic above shower)
PVC shower panels are 72", ceiling height is 93"

2)Is there a special way to tie wall corners together for stability? Lap double 2X4 top plates?
Back wall approx. 55", two side walls approx. 38"
Thinking open 8" at top of shower will help moisture find exhaust fan in center of 8'X9' bath.
I have re plumbed the water and drain lines, never put walls up, looking to get it right the first time.

Build the walls first, floor to ceiling.

Lap the top plate of the double top plates.

Omit the header over the shower access.
