Not sure what you are looking for. Is the house being built or is it already built?? I have always considered what goes into a bathroom a decorating choice of my customer and not up to me. But pick quality items. It costs the same to install junk as good stuff, but you will likely need to replace junk much sooner.

I would have the house ready to move in, prior to moving in. Have the contractor finish it to your specifications, and use the fixtures you want, even if the allowance falls short. Spend a little now to upgrade, or spend alot later to pull it out and buy it new to upgrade. Colors should be determined long before the house is in the finishing stages. This will keep you from having green tile meeting blue carpet, etc.
