We need to exchange a batch of bad bamboo flooring for another Lumber Liquidator's product--I'm allergic to the adhesive used in the bamboo floor we installed--and have very little cash to spend on the new floor. It needs to be solid wood (no more adhesives or fillers!) and I think probably pre-finished, since it's likely I will get sick from finishing fumes, too. LL's Casa de Colour and Builder's Pride solid oak products are at the top end of our price range. Has anyone had experiece with these brands? We do not need the product to be bulletproof, as it is being installed in bedrooms. That said, I don't want to buy trash, either. We are trying to get a product that will both accommodate my problems with chemical emissions and that will last well enough to give us some much-needed increase on the quality and saleability of our condo, which we expect we will be selling in about five years from now.
