FYI; CAPS lock meant yelling on line.

Why are you changing the orfice, butane to Nat and then back?

If the home is using Natural gas, the orfice and spring inside the gas valve must be changed, and pressure must be reset.

This is something I and lot of us here do not advise doing as a DIY. You are best to call a pro or the gas company in to change this over.

Has the other gas burning appiance been changed over? (Stove, dryer, water heater, and fireplace)

The only thing Nat. gas is the Furnace. When we bought it it had the Butane one and the furnace would burn (low) when I changed the orfice to the Nat. gas it burns about a min. and goes out it will relight and do the same thing again.I called a A.C. man and he looked at it ,changed the orfices and it did the same thing. Only he charged me $50.00 when he left.

Did he do anything to the gas valve at all? Springs??? Pressure??

Give us the model # on the gas valve, and also the brand/model of the furnace.
