We have a bathroom that doesn't have an exhaust fan and I want to install one. The bathroom is 6' x 10' with the tub and enclosed shower on the same side. Where is the best place to install the fan? Above the shower, over the tub or right in between both?

Personally, I like to choose a central location - and get a unit with a light also to add illumination to the room. My wife prefers it over the toilet... If you choose to put it over the tub/shower, make sure your fan is certified for a "wet location". not all of them are.

I agree, there are more thing s in the bathroom besides the shower. Locate it so it vents everything. And go bigger on the fan. Most say 1.5 times the sq ft space, but I would go at least 100CFM.

Center is best. But a lot is in what or how can you mount it in the ceiling and vent it out the roof???????

Thx guys I should be able to mount anywhere, so probably go with a center postion.
Well just looked and the light is centered so I guess I will move it closer to the shower.
