We want to install replacement window and leave off the wood trim around the inside and just have the finished drywall come to the edge. Other forum talked about "drywall return" and said it was more about the drywall installation than which window we select (yes/no?).
When I talk to the drywaller any recommendations on how to explain what I want? Is there a specific terminology I should use?
thanks much

What type of exterior wall do you have?
Usually the only time you have a drywall return is when the wall is real thick, like in a block wall. The sill will either be marble/tile or wood.
