Hello.

I have a small section that is minutely lower (it's where the slab transitions to wood in a multi-level house).

It's a triangle shape about 3 feet by 3 feet by 3 feet.

In I'll be putting down a 6 mill vapor layer everywhere with a cushion pad over that.

Instead of using SLC in that triangle section, would it be feasible to cut out an exact shape of the triangle with the 6 mill plastic and place it there, raising it by an extra .24 inches?? I think it would be a perfect height and within the 1/8 " (.125 ") requirements.

Appreciate your thoughts on that solution.

Thanks!

Steve
