Has anyone heard of the brand name "Gripping Stuff!"

I saw a reusable notice board by the company in Parenting magazine a while ago and can only find the company online - it's in the UK and doesn't do direct online sales.

I've contacted the company but thought I'd also check here to see if anyone in the US has heard of the company and had any success finding & purchasing their products.

thanks!

so, what is it? some sort of adhesive or mounting stuff?

It seems to be a material that you can press onto a wall (safely) and then it in turn can have things (papers) pressed onto it. The sample I saw in the magazine showed it as a way to display a child's art safely and non-permanently on a wall. I also saw a sample where a piece of it was on the inside door of a kitchen cabinet and used to hold recipe cards and notes.

It's like a corkboard without the tacks.

I can think of a dozen places I'd use it around my home, so I just want to find a way to purchase it!

sounds neat, but i haven't heard of it. i'd say your best bet is going to be with the company or maybe with contacting Parenting magazine.....

good luck!

Never heard of it either, but if you do a google search or whichever search engine you typically use...type in "gripping stuff" and bam...you're there. If I'm correct, you should be able to find it at Office Depot or Staples.

I did a Google and found the company's website but not much else. I had even gone to Staples and Office Depot's websites and did a product search there. Called my local Staples, and they don't have any of the products but the manager DID say that he's heard of the company recently due to customer inquiries. He was trying to find out how to carry their products in our store...

The company was recently in a Real Simple magazine issue so I'm sure that helped sparked interest.

I ended up emailing the company directly. They sent me an order form! So now I'm just trying to figure out just what and how much I want to get.

If the product turns out to be as good as I expect it to be, I'll be pushing for it to be sold in local stores. I can also report back here with my findings.

thanks for the help!

Scotch Clear Removable Mounting Squares have adhesive on both sides and will not stain walls like putty. They can hold up to one pound. Check at your local office supply.

Too, don't forget about spray adhesive that can be sprayed on the back of papers which can be stuck to walls without staining. This stuff is great for hanging poster and flip chart paper on meeting walls.
