I am installing the Dupoint RealTouch throughout the main living areas of my house. I am pulling up carpet in the main areas, and linoleum in the kitchen.
When I pulled up the linoleum, there was a layer of thin plywood underneath, which was on top of another layer of linoleum. I tried to pull up the linoleum (bottom layer) and was unsuccessful as it just peeled off in small pieces. Is it ok if I just install the laminate on top of that very thin linoleum and then on top of the plywood in the rest of the house? THere wasn't more than about 1/8" difference. Or will I have to put down a layer of the 1/4" ply throughout?

The 1/8 should be fine as long as it isn't an abrupt rise, and the length of you planks running the same direction of the edge of the vinyl.

Thats what I was thinking. I didn't want to deal with the 1/4 luan if I didn't have to. Thanks for the quick reply!
