I want to install some laminate in the entryway to my apartment. It is a small area, approximately 18 sq ft. Is there a minimum space required for a floating laminate installation?

Thanks in advance.

Laminate entry can be any size you desire. You would surely want it a minimum of the width and depth of the open door. At that, if you are wanting to step indoors and remove muddy boots, that would not leave you enough room to maneuver to get the door closed and the boots off. If room allows, the space should be ample enough to maneuver and possibly accommodate a rug to catch grit. With a cut out that is deep and/or wide enough for, it will provide you a more usable and convenient space.
