Can cellulose insulation be "poured" into the wall cavities from the top without using a blower? I have a number of stud cavities that are accessable from the attic, and I am wondering if I can just "pour" the cellulose down into the cavity without having to get a blower unit....

You can if you break it up very small. But for a good job. Id run the hose all the way to the bottom and blow as you pull it out.

Our local HD loans out a blower for free [1 day] with a 10 bag minimum purchase, I assume other stores do the same.
