I have a 1985 Toyota truck that has been sitting for sometime now and this person knocked on my door and asked me if he could buy it. That is not the question of to sale or not but he is purchasing the truck to take out of the country and all he needs is the title. What risk do I run by just signing over the title and not having the truck re-registered?

Once you sell it, what do you care what he does with? The buyer may just want it for parts. It would be a good idea to make a copy of the title after the buyer fills out and signs the buyers section and be sure the remove the license plates if it has any.
