I have a carrier gas furnance and I have been constantly lighting the pilot light. It has been going out more and more frequently, and staying lit less and less...but it will light.
Do I need to replace the thermocouple?
If so, are all thermocouples the same?
If not, what is the differences?
thanks,
Rick

Yes put a new one in .
Id take it with you so you get the same length.
Most come as a kit so they fit all pilots
Also make sure to clean out the pilot venturi there . Just blow in it when you have it out
