Hello, I am about to attempt the install of a drop ceiling in my finished basement. I am using the armstrong parts and am ready to start nailing the wall angles. Hopefully this is a simple question:
When it says to nail the wall angles up, what type of nails should I use? The wall angles are metal, do you think a finish nailer or brad nailer would work or should I get a different type of nails and manually nail them in? Or should I screw them?
Thanks.

Do not use a finish nailer. The nail heads are not large enough.
A long roofing nail or a pan head screw should work. Hit the studs with the nails or screws.

I use 5d nails, but screws would also work. #8 x 1 1/2 sheetmetal screws would be a good choice. Self tappers might be even better to start the hole.
