i have a kenmore ultra wash that has begun to have food build up in the bottom. we clean the best we can but it seems to throw stuff all over the dishes. is there a food trap in the bottom or some other way of cleaning that we are missing? any cleaning tips that might help?

Is there a filter at the bottom? (This keeps food 'n' stuff away from the pump assembly).
