We recieved a Whirlpool Washer Super Capacity 2 speed 8 cycle from a friend and after getting everything all set up we were going to let a rinse cycle go through to clean it out before putting clothes in. Well all it does is drain. It will not fill the water it will just go straight through the drain. thanks for any info.

forget it...I am dumb. I have never hooked one up and the hose was to low. Works fine now that the hose is up high enough.
