I have a PC1555....I had to do the hardware reset (power down, shorting zone 1 & PMG, powering up) and was able to reset my master password....but, now my LED reads "OPEN" all the time and does not recognize my doors or motion detectors anymore. When I hit any button on keypad the numbers 1 thru 6 cycle thru on LED about 3 times before time showing back up (Which I was able to set to correct time).
How do get it to recognize my doors and motion detector again? I did get the installer guide...but I only got a headache. PLEASE HELP!!!

DSC panels default to requiring the zone resistors. People who install DSC panels nearly always turn the requirement off. You just need to turn on option 1 in programming section 13.
Give the section on how to program a thorough read. All of the information is there, just realize that DSC manuals (and most security system manuals) are not written like a consumer electronics manual. They assume a certain basic understanding of DC circuit principals and security system design in general. The information in the manual is _not_ linear. You have to think of it more like a reference resourse.

Thanks, will try that. Can programming be done with Master or does it have to be with Installer code?
Will give manual a second go around, just want to give myself 30 seconds to disable alarm when I come in any of the three doors (zones 1, 2, 3) and motion sensor (zone 4).
This is my first attempt at alarm system. Was able to successfully turn off auto dialer (with help from one of your previous posts)
Thanks Again

Yes, the installer code is how you enter programming mode.
