Hi all-
I thought I had everything figured out with regard to configurable zone type 90, on my Ademco/Honeywell Vista-20P system.
It may sound strange- but I would like to configure a zone type that does nothing more than chime at the keypad when the zone is activated and restored. I would like for it to chime (announce a 'change' via chime) during all modes (away, stay, night, disarmed). No alarm, no reports -just chime.
Using the configurable zone types worksheet, I configured *182 like so:
0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 4
I successfully enrolled a 5816 loop 2 -using a zone type of 3 for testing. Worked perfectly...chimed as expected, displayed fault on the keypad, etc.
I then changed this zone's type to 90.
After doing so, I no longer got any faults displayed on the keypad- and, as you may have guessed- no chime :(
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John

I think you need the sequence:
0 7 0 3 0 3 0 0 0 4
This tells it to fault in all arm/disarm conditions, with auto reset and chime when chime enabled. The zone fault will display on the keypad. The zone must fault to activate the chime.
0 7 0 3 0 3 0 0 0 4

Thanks again MrRonFL!
About 1 min. before I saw your reply, I tried:
0 3 0 3 0 3 0 0 0 4 -and thought I had it.
Seeing your reply and making the second digit a 7
-it now works exactly as a need.
Awesome!
