Hi,

I have moved into a new home with a DSC PC5010 panel and three DSC PC 5508 LED Keypads. We have service through an alarm company that did not install the system and doesn't seem to know much about this keypad. The question I have is regarding the sounds from the keypad. I would like to disable the sounds coming from the keypad in the bedroom so it doesn't chime or sound off every time a key is pressed on a different keypad in the so it doesn't wake us every time we need to let the dog out, etc. Can we also turn the sounds off that come on when each button is pressed on the same keypad? Thanks for any help.

You can get a user manual from www.dsc.com.

To change the keypad sounder tones press and hold the * key. There are about 20 odd gradiations of the keypad sounds, from completely off to softer tones than the default setting.
