Have to take the front Door Panel off my HE3 Washer. There is a big rubber collar that is connected from the door housing to the Drum unit.
It seems to be connected to the Drum housing with a big Band Clamp and thats all.
A friend says, the collar is also glued to the Drum unit, under the band, and that removing the band will not let me remove the Collar so I can separate the door front panel from the Drum Unit. Does anybody know if this is glued also? Thanks.

The HE3 is not glued... When reinstalling do not over or under tighten the clamp as it will pop off when in use..
