I have a 3 year old GE SS refrig. The ice maker is working fine, but the water dispenser is not working. I wasn't getting water to the freezer door (disconnect the tube in front, push dispenser lever and water wasn't flowing) so I replaced the water valve in the back.
Now water is flowing to the door, but not up to the dispenser. I thought maybe the tube had ice in it so I tried to melt it with a hair dryer -- no luck. I have tried to clear it with compressed air -- no luck. With the tube disconnected at the bottom of the door, I can't blow air through it.
Here is my question: Does the tube go straight up the door to the water spigot or is there another valve, a reservior, or something else?
If it is just a clogged tube, doesn't anyone have any ideas on how to "unclog" it?
