I have to glue down a couple of pieces of finished oak with Nailpower. Originally I left a bare area on the back of each board for the adhesive. Now I want it sealed but I'm not sure what to use to seal it with that the adhesive would still stick to. I was thinking one coat of the clear that I used for the face of the board. Any ideas? Thanks

You might thin some Titebond III wood glue with water and brush that on and let it dry. Just don't get any on the finished sides.
