I few years ago, I purchased an acrylic/latex primer/sealer that really hid minor wall damage , pine knots, etc real well. I think it was the Glidden gripper line, but it seems like they may have changed the product line since the last time I purchase it. Can anyone recommend a decent product to cover up some roughed up wood trim that has been filled in/smoothed out with joint compound. Over the years the trim, casings, etc have taken a beating, looks fine now after filling in the gaps, but the primer I used isnt cutting it.
thanks Kevin

Zinsser makes good stuff. Check into their line at your local paint store.

I agree
Thought there are some good ones from many companies, you almost always can find the specific primer/sealer for any specific project in the Zinsser line-up
And they are all good at what they do
