Hi. I have a side by side GE Fridge. Its over 6 years old, but very well maintained. Just yesterday, i noticed that the door of the fridge doesn't close tightly. There is no bottle or container in the way of it closing but looking around, the fridge door is slightly lower than the freezer door(less than an inch difference). So we looked at the hinges and noticed that the hinge for the fridge door is "out". Its still connected to the door, but its not properly in as the freezer door is.

Does anyone know how to repair this? All tips will be greatly appreciated. I look forward to your advice...thank you!!!!

On top of fridge, pry off the plastic cap covering upper hinge. Should be 2 or 3 screws holding hinge. Loosen screws to adjust hinge. If door still won't close due to being too low, remove upper hinge, grap hold of door & lift up off bottom hinge pin. The plastic washers on pin might be worn & need replaced to bring door up to proper level. Dave
