Building new house in mountains of N.E. Goorgia. Need advice as to heat pump to buy, Or if heat pump is adquate in this area for heating a 2000 sq ft home???

Don , Heat pumps are more economical,but are not effecient below 40 degrees, at which time the heat tapes kick in. I like gas packs.

A heat pump would be a great choice in GA.

Go to http://warmair.net there you can compare fuel cost. Here in Mo all we sell and put in are heatpumps.. With homes running well up over 10,000 sq ft
