I am hearing some gurgling and I open up the dishwasher and there is quite a bit of water at the bottom. Can I try drano then take the top off and see if something bigger or plastic is stuck?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Not a good idea to use Drano. Not sure what it would do to the seals. Could be a costly mistake. Most dishwashers have a cover on the sump you can remove by taking out a few screws.
There could be plastics or other debri blocking the screen before the pump. If the screen is blocked you should notice your dishes not getting cleaned. Is that the problem? Or is it not pumping the water out in the drain cycle? Grease can accumulate in the drain hose & restrict pump-out or stop it alltogether. Remove the hose from the sink drain, place it in a bucket & flex by hand along the length of hose with dishwasher in drain mode untill grease is moved out. Dave

Yeah, I think it might be a draining problem, cause the dishes are clean. But I do hear a clicking type sound, maybe something caught in there?
I will report back.
Thanks.
