I spilled a puddle of exterior latex paint on my concrete floor today. My thinking was to let it dry and just scrape it up in a couple of days. Is this a good approach, or are there other suggestions? Thanks

Concrete is porous and will absorb paint. Paint spills are best attended to immediately. Wiping from outside toward middle to prevent spreading is best. Wet concrete and then scrub with paste of TSP and water and let set to dissolve paint. If waiting until tomorrow, scrape off excess and wet, apply TSP/water paste, let set, rinse, and repeat if necessary.

Wherever you spill paint, the first thing you always want to do is remove as much as possible - the more soaks into the surface, the harder removal will be.

It is best to wipe/mop it up immediatetly! and then flood the area with water if possible. Once dry you may need a pressure washer and possibly paint remover to clean it up.
