I started my PW for the first time in about a year. It started fine but I don't get any flow out of the pressure wand. After running for 1-2 minutes the engine began to struggle as if it was over heating so I shut it off. I have water flow into the unit. I believe there is pressure as I can not disengage any of the quick couplers.
Could the pump sieze up form lack of use? How can I trouble shoot without risking further damage? How do I release the pressure so I can remove the wand? How do I tell if the pump if froze up?
