Have Hotpoint portable dishwasher, fills ok and timer runs through cycles ok, but once fill stops, it drains immediatly, continues cycle to next fill point and again drains. motor runs but no water swishing around inside. If I stop machine and fill it, as soon as restarted it drains water and continues with cycle.

I just trashed one that was doing the same thing. The washing pump was frozen up. Once I pulled it (I like to find out why) I tried turning the shaft, and it wouldn't budge. Mine, like yours would go through the cycles, but no water ever came up the wands. Sorry I couldn't give more help.
