I had under 6 cabinet haolgens professionally installed in my kitchen 2 1/2 years ago. They worked fine until the other day. Twp of the bulbs went out. I removed the old bulbs, checked the correct voltage and bought replacement bulbs. I installed the new bulbs-I did not know you are not supposed to touch them. The unit was on when I installed the new bulbs and they all worked fine. I shut them off a few hours later and when I went to turn them back on...none of the bulbs work. There is no tripped circuit breaker. Could installing the bulbs bare-handed cause all the lights out? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Yes. The oil on your fingers or any grease or oil can cause this.
