I'm getting ready to install a bunch of drywall and would like everyones opinion on screwdriver bits. I used a bunch of el cheapo bits and the philip head bits tend to strip relatively quickly. I'm tired of messing with this junk and want something that works well.

I just did installed drywall in a 575 sq ft room and was looking for the same thing. I ended up buying a dimpler bit from Lowes. It cost about $13, but was worth every penny. It sinks the drywall screws just below the surface perfectly every time. If you look in the section with all the other drill bits, you'll most certainly find one. They even have cheap $2 ones that work great as well, but those ones aren't adjustable.

Good luck.

Maintain sudden, steady, tight pressure until the screw is seated. Keep the bit angle perpendicular to the wall or ceiling

Go with a good brand, Irwin, Stanley, Dewalt, etc. You will see the difference in a side by side comparison. The cheaper ones will have a straight tapered bit, while the better ones will be slightly bugled.
