I recently installed a water heater, along with sweatting in some new pipes (about 2 days ago). The kitchen faucet (closest to the water heater) is still spitting air when I turn it on. The bathrooms on the second floor seem to be OK. I also had to use some bread to stop water when soldering and it seems to have all cleared out too. Should this air noise eventually clear up? In the past when I've done work, it seems the air sputtering usually stops only after using the sinks a couple of times. Thanks.

Should let it run some more and see.

Oh, I might add, the sink does clear itself of air while in use but the air comes back after the sink has not been used for a while.
