Our 2-level deck is framed and now we need to choose composite deck material for upstate NY installation. Want relatively low, low maintenance (soap and water wash once or twice a year), no mildew or staining, no squeaks, very little fading (want gray color to match house siding), non slippery as we will be using the lower level hot tub deck in the winter. Considering Corectdeck, Procell and product from Tri-Max building products which boguht out US Plastic Lumber or vice versa. Has anyone used these products and what are the pros and cons of each? Winter weather will be an issue, not so much with sustained hot weather. For those of you with composite decks in snow, can you shovel them off with a shovel or will shovel gouge and scratch/ruin the appearance? Opinions welcomed please. Feel free to answer here or PM me.
