Is there a construction adhesive I can use to attach the composite facia board to my TP desh structure. Needless to say it would have to be able to handle a completely saturated enviornment. I don't want to use screws because I don't like the look.

I don't know of an adhesive that can compare to screws

heres a trick drill a 1/4 " hole and screw securely, drill all screws, snuged only-this is if plack is raised of floor - now back out 1 screw and drill a 3/8 hole 3'16" long and screw the screw back in which is now recessed, do this to all screws, now touch up with a favourite paint

I really just don't like the look of the screws. If there was a completely waterproof also free-proof wood-composite adhesive that would be nice.

I'm assuming this is a 3/4" thick composite, like Trex, going over the outside of a treated 2x rim/band joist. It might be tricky to get right, but you might be able to screw from the backside, through the 2x into the composite. You would have to get the right length screws, and be careful not to over-drive any of them.

I found a link (interestingly to this site) for a "weatherproof construction adhesive" that they claim will bond frozen and wet wood. http://www.doityourself.com/invt/9416801

well then that's exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for the help. I'll see if I can find a smaller qty at my local hardware store. I'm going to give it a shot and I'll report.
