I have a tiling project for an area that is an extremely unusual and convoluted shape. It tends to be narrow in some places and has 1 wall at an angle which looks to be about 45, but I haven't measured. I'm a decent tiler, so I'm not worried about difficulty level, but I am worried about making it look good. Would a space like this look larger with with big tiles or small tiles? Would the unusual angles be downplayed more if I used several sizes of tiles in a pattern, or would it look better with uniform tile size in a straightforward layout? Perhaps this belongs in a design forum, but I'd love to hear from anyone who has done some unusual rooms and what worked better from an aesthetic point of view.

Thanks : )
