Hi everyone,
Last weekend my fiance and I came across an incredible clearance on slate-like porcelain tile. At $0.99 per square foot, we decided to buy 300 square ft. in preparation for a house we are rehabbing next spring.
Is it ok to store the tile in a detached, unheated garage over the winter? I live in NJ so it certainly will go below freezing temps, but nothing too extreme. Also, I have them stacked 6 boxes of 11ea. high.
I just wanted to double check since I would be really mad if $300 worth of tile cracked!

They will be fine. If you were to install them in the winter they should be brought in and acclimated to room temperature for a few days first.
