hello professional tilers....
I need help pricing a job for a friend. It's a kitchen backsplash with hand painted ceramic, diagonals over the stove with raised decorative handpainted inserts. The friend wants to pay me what a professional would make on the job. I've done tiling in my own home with really good results, i just don't know what to charge for this. Total sq. ft. is only 25, but there will be tricky layout issues over stove.
BTW, the main body of the work is 5 x 5 tile, and the inserts are 4 x 4.

At least $400 for labor. It will take a day to install and then part of a day to grout and clean the tile.
