I have just changed my lighting fixture on my ceiling fan. My new light kit only had a black and white wire, no blue wire. Is there any way that I can hook a remote up to the light?
Thanks for any help,
Barry
PS my remote still controlls the fan.

What color wire did you hook the light kit to inside the fan?
How many wires are at the top of the fan where it attaches to the ceiling box?

What is the make of the fan? Some mfgrs. have fans that operate on two wires. Did you get a switch with the fan?
And finaly the previous post questions.

My light completely stopped working last night so I rewired it and now the remote works as well.
