Hello
I have new vista 20amt board with 6160 keypad, I followed the manual to wire it up and I double check everything, I have no sensors yet so I installed 2.2 resistors for each wire zone as the diagramed . I powered the system, I could not set the keypad address to 31, did not take it, it took address 16, then the keypad displayed open chk , I tried it again with 6139 keypad, but still the same any help?

Thanks

Hi
Where can I find a compass software or a V-link software will work with this panel?

Thanks

Some of the hardware vendors will sell you the software, but I will forwarn you:

These programming software packages were designed for companies that setup multiple similar systems. They are not really any more user friendly than the keypad programming, and tend to be finicky about the hardware and software setup they run on.

I work with this stuff and understand the underlying logic, and _I_ don't use Compass because the learning curve is steeper than I like for the relatively small number of ademco systems I have to service.
