Hey Guys, thanks in advanced for any response. My brother lost our keys for our monster of a generator Honda EM7000. I have looked all over on the web with no luck for a replacement. I find a site for parts online but it doesn't list any parts for this particular model. Are the keys universal? Do the ones for lets say the 5000 model work? Please help, we are going to be hunting soon and we need power. Thanks much!!

---Mods please remove the message. Just got some at the local dealer. Thanks!

IF you can, open it up, make note of where the wires connect, pull the old switch, pick up another one at Radio Shack and install it. No one says it has to be a "Honda" switch. It is just a Off-On-Ignition switch, and you may be better able to find one at a auto parts house. If it is the key to the panel, then you will either have to break the lock or have a locksmith open it and make you a key.

They ship them on the same ring, don't they?
