Hi, i am newbie here.
Could anyone please tell me what is bare copper conductor for coaxial cable? Is it a pure solid copper conductor for the cable?
However, why the price for coaxial cable with copper coated steel (CCS) conductor is higher than the one with bare copper conductor?
Any reply is very much appreciated.

The center conductor is what actually carries the signal. The steel cored wire is more expensive because it cost more money to draw and anneal steel wire and copper clad it, than it costs to simply draw copper wire.

The steel cored wire is a stronger cable, physically, but the copper core is just fine for 98% of typical uses.
