I am screening in a porch and need to frame an opening for a wooden screen door. I would like to have the screen door open either way, this way the grandchildren only need to push from the direction they are entering or exiting. Do they make a hinge that works in both directions? I would the door to be as weather tiight as possible on the sides, bottom and top to prevent bugs, etc.. Thanks for any help.

You can get hinges that swing in both directions and install it on your screen door.

Making the door weather tight will be a little tricky. You will have to make the door and the opening perfectly square so that the gap between the door and opening is even. You can then put weather strip between the gap to seal the door. This won't be as weather tight as a single swing door, but should be fine for a screened porch.

HD or Lowes probably has those, i think they charge way too much for them though. If I find the online source on my old pc, i'll let ya know, cuz even with shipping they were cheaper!!

I used em for "bar-room" style cut-down shutters to kinda separate the kitchen from the living room.
