Wondering if someone can help me with this problem? My oven tripped the trip switch in the house yesterday, we turned it back on to find out the problem and it then tripped the whole house electrics. Ever since we have had flickering lights (including lights plugged into a socket). It was worse yesterday than today, and they mainly flickered today when there was a surge of power (ie shower being turned on etc). Is this an external problem for my electricity supplier, or an internal problem that will require an electrician? Any help is appreciated. PS - lights don't flicker all the time, just intermittant.

Welcome to the forums. If your main breaker tripped, it is time to call in the power company and an electrician. You have problems alot deeper than changing a light bulb. And make the call right NOW, please. Your situation does not sound very safe.
