I have a Circular Saw that looses power when under load; it this a sign of bad brushes or something else?

Worn brushes, undersized power cord, overloaded power circuit, dull blade, bearings damaged.

What are you cutting?
How old / how much use on the saw?
What materials can it cut without losing power?

If none of the above mentioned items work, check for a loose blade. This can have the same symptoms as losing power.

I have found, too, when sawing harder woods to spray the blade with Liquid Wrench Teflon dry spray. It really dries so there is no residue on the wood and it lasts a while.
