i unplugged the not moniter alarm system and battery last week while we had a guest (who need to go outside and smoke at all hours of the night). so we would not be woke up by the beeping that happens when the doors are opened. the guest is gone and i want the beeping back. can anyone help?? thanks.
update through reseach i see the steps are to hit *6 (master code) 6 only problem is the alarm service was cancelled before we even moved in so no one knows the master code. shoud i call the # on the panel for "ranger american" security? and see if they can help me out?
god bless.

In general, companies like Ranger American will only help you if you agree to a monitoring contract with them. They _might_ be able to dial in and set the master and installer codes back to default, but they probably won't and certainly not likely for free.
Short of a lucky guess at the installer code, your only practical option is to default the panel, which will require reprogramming things like the zone settings. DSC alarm panel programming isn't difficult, but it's not very intuitive.
